Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Are you accepting new clients? Yes. If you are comfortable, email me at mmobley@intentionalpracticecounseling.org and let me know a little about what you are seeking.

  2. How long are sessions? Sessions are typically 55 mins.

  3. What is your cancellation policy? I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel the time that is set aside for you, please email with 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $75 fee. It may be helpful to know that I adhere strictly to this policy.

  4. How do we begin? If you’re interested in working together, please send me an email. From there, we set up a 15 min video consultation. This is an opportunity for sharing about what sessions are like & an opportunity for you to ask questions. Additionally we’ll discuss logistics and availability. If we choose to work together, I’ll send the intake paperwork your way and we’ll set up an appointment.

  5. What do sessions cost? I am happy to discuss my fees for therapy. I am licensed in MA and NC. Out of network sessions are $125 for a 55 min session. I reserve the right to raise my session rates at the beginning of each year.

  6. Do you accept health insurance? No. I am currently out of network with all insurance panels. I will be happy to provide you with a Superbill once monthly if you want to claim out of network benefits with your health insurance.

  7. Will I receive a Good Faith Estimate? Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
